How to use NewEra

Getting started

NewEra uses your Web3 wallet as your login, there's no email or password. Your wallet is only used to sign in, and it never sends a transaction. At a high level, the loop is simple:

• Connect your wallet and claim a one-time welcome bonus.
• Generate an image from a text prompt.
• List the image, or the prompt behind it, for sale.
• Buy from other creators, and earn when your work sells.

Connect your wallet

1. Install MetaMask (or any compatible Web3 wallet) as a browser extension.
2. If your wallet asks to switch to BNB Chain, approve it. It is only used to identify your account. Nothing is sent and you need no BNB.
3. On NewEra, click Connect wallet and approve the connection request.
4. Sign the login message, this proves you own the wallet. No funds move.

On your first connect, you'll be able to claim a 50 NEA welcome bonus from the Claim page. That's enough to start generating right away.

Generate an image

1. Open the Studio and write a prompt describing what you want.
2. Hit Generate. 10 NEA is taken from your balance, with nothing to confirm in your wallet.
3. The image is created and added to your collection, you own it. If generation fails, your NEA is refunded automatically.

Prompt tips: be specific. Name the subject, the style, the setting, and the lighting. The clearer the prompt, the more control you have over the result.

Owning your work

When you generate, the payment is recorded in your account history and the image is added to your collection under your account. If you later sell it, ownership transfers to the buyer and the item leaves your collection. Ownership is recorded by NewEra today. On-chain proof of ownership is paused and returns in a later phase.

List & sell

1. Go to your collection and pick an image you own.
2. Choose List for sale and set your own price in NEA.
3. Confirm the listing. It appears on the marketplace right away.

There's no listing fee, you set the price. When it sells, the payment is split automatically (more on that below).

Sell a prompt

A strong prompt is valuable on its own. On NewEra you can list the prompt behind an image:

• The image stays visible as a public preview.
• The prompt text stays locked.
• A buyer unlocks the full prompt only after they pay.

It's a way to earn from your prompt-writing skill, not just the picture.

Buy from the marketplace

1. Browse the Marketplace or Prompt market.
2. Pick an item and choose Buy. The price is taken from your NEA balance.
3. Ownership transfers to you instantly, and for prompts, the text unlocks. A prompt can be bought by many people, an image only once.

Everything you buy lands in your collection, with the purchase recorded in your account history.

Earnings & rewards

When someone buys your work, the payment is split automatically at the moment of sale:

On top of sales, NewEra has bonus tasks, one-time rewards for completing key actions like your first generation, first listing, first prompt sale, and first purchase. Each reward is credited to your NEA balance, and each task can be claimed once.

NEA credits

NEA is NewEra's platform credit, held in your NewEra account. You use it to generate images and to buy on the marketplace, and you earn it by selling your work, completing bonus tasks, and through referrals.

• Welcome bonus: 50 NEA on your first connect.
• Generation: 10 NEA per image.
• Platform fee: 5% of every sale supports the platform.

Troubleshooting

My wallet won't connect. Make sure MetaMask is installed and unlocked, and approve the network switch if it asks. Refresh and try again.

An action failed. Check that you have enough NEA for it. You never need BNB or gas. If a generation fails, your NEA is refunded automatically, so just try again.

I don't see my new image or purchase. Refresh the page. If it still isn't there, sign out and back in.
