NewEra is live. NEA is a platform credit held in your NewEra account. It has no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money outside NewEra. NewEra's first phase ran on BNB Chain. On-chain settlement is currently paused and is planned to return in a later phase. These terms describe the platform as it exists today and will be updated when that changes.

01 Accepting these terms

By connecting a wallet to NewEra or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use NewEra.

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and NewEra ("we", "us", "the platform"). They apply to the website, the studio app, and every action you take through NewEra.

02 Who can use NewEra

You may use NewEra only if you can form a binding agreement and doing so isn't prohibited where you live. You're responsible for making sure that using NewEra is legal in your jurisdiction.

  • You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country (typically 18+).
  • You must not be barred from using this service under any applicable law or sanctions list.
  • You use NewEra on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

03 Your wallet & account

NewEra doesn't use passwords or email logins. Your identity is your crypto wallet, and you prove it by signing a message. This means a few important things:

  • You control your wallet, not us. We never hold your private keys, seed phrase, or funds.
  • You are responsible for your wallet's security. If you lose access to it, we cannot recover it or the assets in it.
  • Actions are yours. Anything you do while signed in, generating, listing, buying, is your decision and is recorded to your account.

04 NEA and credits

NEA is the platform credit used to operate NewEra, you spend it to generate images and to trade on the marketplace, and you can earn it through platform activity.

NEA and all balances are utility credits for using the platform. They cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real money outside NewEra, and should not be treated as an investment.

NEA is not a security, share, or investment product. It's a functional credit for using the platform, with no monetary value. We make no promise about its future value or availability.

05 Generating & owning

When you generate an image, you pay a NEA fee from your balance and the image is recorded to your account. That record, held by NewEra, is what "ownership" means on the platform today. If a generation fails, the fee is refunded automatically.

You're responsible for the prompts you write and the images you generate. Don't generate content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates the acceptable-use rules below.

06 Buying & selling

You can list images and prompts for sale at prices you choose. When a sale happens, the payment is split automatically:

  • 95% goes to the creator (the seller).
  • 5% is a platform fee.

All sales are final once completed. Please review every listing and purchase before you confirm it.

07 Acceptable use

To keep NewEra usable for everyone, you agree not to:

  • Generate or trade content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Attempt to exploit, attack, or manipulate the platform, its accounting, or other users.
  • Use the platform to launder funds or evade sanctions or other laws.
  • Misrepresent ownership or the origin of a creation or prompt.

We may restrict access to the platform interface for accounts that break these rules.

08 Content & ownership

You keep ownership of the images you generate and the prompts you create, subject to the license terms of the underlying AI models used to produce them. When you list a prompt for sale, you grant the buyer the right to use that prompt once they've purchased it.

AI-generated content can raise complex intellectual-property questions that vary by country. You're responsible for understanding how ownership of AI output works where you live.

09 Availability & changes

NewEra is provided "as is" and "as available." As a product still in active development, it may change, pause, break, or reset without notice. Features can be added or removed, and the network itself is outside our control.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date. Continuing to use NewEra after an update means you accept the revised terms.

10 Disclaimers & liability

NewEra is a creative software platform. It is not a bank, exchange, broker, or financial advisor, and nothing on the platform is financial, legal, or tax advice.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the platform, including lost funds, lost access to a wallet, failed or irreversible transactions, smart-contract issues, network problems, or the value of any token. You use NewEra at your own risk. Please also read our Risk Statement.
